This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. The Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), State of Nevada, and the Great Basin Institute will continue their partnership established in the prior cooperative agreement 2003 to promote environmental research, education and conservation throughout the west with particular focus on receation resource management in the Great Basin. This collaboration provides an outlet for young professionals to obtain training and “on the ground” experience in data collection and analysis, small site restoration, trail initiation and maintenance as well as monitoring throughout Nevada.
