USAID/OFDA's mandate is to save lives, alleviate human suffering and reduce the economic and social impact of disasters worldwide. As part of the Asia regional strategy, USAID/OFDA is soliciting applications to promote public-private partnerships for disaster management in vulnerable communities of India and Indonesia which involve disaster mitigation, preparedness and response.
