This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Battle Mountain District Office, will continue the Resource Monitoring Project that was initially begun in 2006. The project entails gathering riparian, wild horse and burro, wildlife, forestry, water quality, and range information/data to enhance resource management plans and to promote and sustain healthy watersheds. The project provides the opportunity for environmental education and hands-on experience for professionals new to the natural resource field.
