Description

The Pacific Island Ecosystems Research Center (PIERCE) of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is interested in developing of high resolution climate projections for the main Hawaiian Islands. Projections should be for the year 2050 and 2100, as a minimum. Successful applicant is expected to work closely with USGS personnel to collaboratively translating climate projects into ArcGIS spatial data that can be used to model potential range distributions of Hawaiian plants and animals. Projections should map to the scale of 1:100,000. Projections must be transmitted to PIERCE no later than September 15, 2008.
