Description
The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Headquarters Region 7 intends to award a single source Cooperative Agreement to the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys. This notice is not a request for proposals and the Government does not intend to accept proposals. Award will be made 10 business days after this notice. The purpose of this study is to determine if and how acidic water continues to impact Indecision Creek, Mother Goose Lake, and the King Salmon River. This study is a continuation of prior physical and chemical monitoring, and the data collected provides the foundation for assessing when the Service should initiate further biological monitoring and assessment. Objectives: 1. Re-sample at least 6 surface water sampling stations to measure pH, conductivity, temperature, and dissolved oxygen. 2. Collect water samples at all sampling stations for cation and anion analysis.
