The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requests proposals from private entities that will ultimately result in the award of one or more cooperative agreements to identify those elements that will support a Federal Railroad Administration waiver and provide an equivalent (or greater) level of safety for shared track operations at the selected transit agency.
