Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is soliciting proposals from eligible parties to help reduce or eliminate mercury use in hospitals and health care clinics in other countries. The selected applicant will provide technical assistance to foreign governments (including local or provincial governments in other countries), international organizations, non-government organizations, and hospitals to promote the use of non-mercury devices in the health care sector. The selected applicant will identify specific countries (with initial emphasis on Latin America) that would be interested in reducing mercury in their health care sectors.
