This program is intended to award grants to States and political subdivisions of States to assist in rail line relocation and improvement projects. For detailed information, please see the Final Rule (49 CFR Part 262) published at 73 Federal Register 39875 (July 11, 2008) and the Notice of Funding Availability pubished at 73 Federal Register 51880 (September 5, 2008).
