CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Five-Year US Affiliated Pacific Island Collaborative Performance Agreement for Tobacco Control, Diabetes Prevention and Control, and the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System” Approximately $ 900,000 (Tobacco Program); $ 635,111 (Diabetes Program); $ 125,000 (BRFSS) will be available to fund the six health departments/ministries of health of the United States Affiliated Pacific Islands. The purpose of the program is to support tobacco control, diabetes prevention and control, and BRFSS activities in the US Affiliated Pacific Islands
