Description

The purpose of the FY 2009 SHSP Tribal program is to provide supplemental funding to directly eligible tribes to help strengthen the Nation against risks associated with potential terrorist attacks. Pursuant to the 9/11 Act, “a directly eligible tribe applying for a grant under section 2004 [SHSP] shall designate an individual to serve as a tribal liaison with [DHS] and other Federal, State, local, and regional government officials concerning preventing, preparing for, protecting against, and responding to acts of terrorism.”The following are the required forms to be completed in the downloaded application package: * Please note that these required forms may fall under either the mandatory or optional document headings in the application package.
