Description
-Purpose. The purpose of the NINR Academic Research Enhancement Award (AREA) for Health Disparities Research at Minority Serving Institutions (MSI s) (R15) is to stimulate health disparities and minority health research at minority-serving schools of nursing and to promote the development of minority nurse scientists as independent investigators. AREA grants are intended to support small-scale health-related research projects proposed by faculty members of eligible, domestic institutions, see: http://grants1.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-06-042.html -Mechanism of Support.
