Description
-This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) solicits Research Education (R25) grant applications for educational activities related to the NICHD mission to support research on the processes that determine population size, growth, composition and distribution, and on the determinants and consequences of population processes. It encourages activities designed to address three key objectives: enhancing the development of interdisciplinary scientists and facilitating interdisciplinary studies; improving the dissemination and use of existing data sets in population research; and advancing the adoption of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. -This FOA will use the NIH Research Education (R25) grant mechanism. -The total amount to be awarded. Awards issued under this FOA are contingent upon the availability of funds and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.
