Description

This program is intended to award grants to States or State designated authorities for three eligible projects - Pittsburgh project, the Baltimore-Washington project, and the Atlanta-Chattanooga project – to assist in preconstruction planning activities and capital costs of the fixed guideway infrastructure of a maglev project. For detailed information, please refer to Section 102 of the SAFETEA-LU Technical Corrections Act of 2008, Pub. L. 110-244 (June 6, 2008) and the Notice of Funding Availability published at 73 Federal Register 61449 (October 16, 2008).
