Secretary’s Forecast Summary RFA-PS-09-007 CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Evaluating Locally-Developed (Homegrown) HIV Prevention Interventions for African-American and Hispanic/Latino Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM).” Approximately $800,000 will be available in fiscal year 2009 to fund approximately 4 awards. The purpose of the program is to support rigorous evaluation of interventions to determine if they reduce HIV-related risk behaviors (e.g., sex or drug injection behaviors) or new HIV or STD diagnoses.
