CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, “Libby, Montana Amphibole Epidemiology Research Program (R01)” Approximately $965,000 will be available in fiscal year 2009 to fund one award. The purpose of this FOA is to assess and evaluate asbestos related disease progression and health effects of the local population in Libby, Montana.
