Description

The Food and Nutrition Service announces an opportunity for the eligible applicants listed above to submit grant applications for the 2009 Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Participation Grants. Subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2009 funds, a total of $5 million is available.Grant funding may be used to support projects that develop and implement simple food stamp application and eligibility determination systems, or measures to improve access to food stamp benefits. Please view the request for applications to obtain additional information.
