Secretary’s Forecast Summary CDC-RFA-PS09-940CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Support for Strengthening and Expanding HIV and AIDS Peer Education Prevention Programs in the Republic of South Africa under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.” Approximately $810,000 will be available to fund approximately one award. The purpose of the program is to provide PEPFAR and non-PEPFAR partners with training and ongoing technical assistance and capacity building to assist with the development and adaptation of peer education materials and tools specifically focused on abstinence and being faithful (AB) prevention in multiple settings as well as other STI prevention (OSP) in multiple settings.
