CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Implementation of Programs for the Prevention, Care and Treatment of HIV/AIDS in the United Republic of Tanzania under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.” Approximately $40,000,000 will be available to fund approximately seven awards. The purpose of the program is to provide HIV prevention services to persons at increased risk for HIV infection and provide treatment, care and support services to HIV infected individuals in the Republic of Tanzania.
