Description

The purpose of this grant opportunity is to develop a captive breeding facility for the endangered masked bobwhite quail. The grantee will assist the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in locating and enlisting a suitable zoological institution to hold and breed masked bobwhite quail, designing and developing a new captive breeding facility, refining masked bobwhite quail captive breeding protocols, and modifying/refining masked bobwhite quail rearing protocols.
