CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Expansion of HIV Prevention Counseling, Psychosocial Support and Outreach Services in Botswana under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.” Approximately $1,825,000 will be available to fund approximately one award. The purpose of the program is to increase the effectiveness of PMTCT services through a comprehensive program of facility based peer counseling and psychosocial support for pregnant women and new mothers living with HIV/AIDS in Botswana.
