CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Technical Assistance for Injection Safety in the Republic of Botswana under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.” Approximately $237,500 will be available to fund approximately one award. The purpose of the program is to strengthen the existing Making Medical Injection Safer project, to extend successful interventions into additional districts and to promote the safety of health care workers, patients and the community by provided technical assistance and support.
