CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Increasing Demand for and Promotion of Quality STIs Services in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).” Approximately $310,000 will be available in fiscal year 2009 to fund approximately one award. The purpose of the program is to develop, produce and scale up the utilization of Pre-Packaged Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Treatment Kits (PPST) in the both the private and public sector.
