CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, “Implementation of an HIV Care and Support Program in the Republic of South Africa under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).” Approximately $1,264,000 will be available to fund approximately two awards. The purpose of the program is to scale up HIV Care and Support services in South Africa. Specifically, the purpose is to develop and implement programs aimed at early identification and retention into HIV Care and Support services from the time of HIV infection diagnosis in the following provinces – Eastern Cape, Free State, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
