Description

The purpose of this program is twofold. The purpose of module A is to enhance the understanding of the phenotype of Diamond Blackfan Anemia patients and to educate the physicians that are caring for them. By understanding more about this disease, clinicians will be able to make more accurate diagnoses and patients will be treated more appropriately. Additionally, the information gained from a surveillance of DBA patients may be extended to enhance the knowledge of other health fields, such as birth defects and pediatric cancer.
