Description

The OJJDP FY 09 VOCA Training and Technical Assistance for Child Abuse Professionals program will provide funding for the development and implementation of a model technical assistance and training program for child abuse professionals and to improve the judicial system’s handling of child abuse and neglect cases. The purpose of this program is to improve the coordinated multidisciplinary investigation and response to child abuse. This program is authorized under the Victims of Child Abuse (VOCA) Act 42 U.S.C. Section 13023, et seq., as amended.
