Description

The OJJDP FY 09 VOCA Children’s Advocacy Centers Subgrant Program will provide funding to manage a national grant awards program for local children’s advocacy center programs. Children’s Advocacy Centers provide a coordinated response to victims of child abuse through multidisciplinary teams composed of representatives from the statutorily mandated and other involved agencies. This program is authorized under the Victims of Child Abuse Act 42 U.S.C. Section 13002, et seq., as amended.

  • City or township governments
  • Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
  • Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
  • Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
  • For-profit organizations other than small businesses
