Description

Funding is available through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Anadromous Fish Restoration Program (AFRP) to conduct analyses necessary to determine (1) a set of alternatives that will provide a long term solution to the exposed ACID siphon that will reduce the potential for negatively affecting all life stages and runs of Chinook salmon and steelhead; (2) complete environmental documentation and permits for the project; and (3) implement the preferred alternative. No substantial involvement on the part of the Service is anticipated for the successful completion of the objective to be funded. It is anticipated the Service's involvement will consist of standard Federal stewardship responsibilitlies, such as monitoring project performance, technical assistance at the request of the reciepient, etc.
