Description

The funding opportunity is to provide a means to ensure continued promotion of innovative mapping initiatives and floodplain management objectives with FEMA’s partners at the Federal, State, and local level and private sector technical experts on flood hazards. Funding for floodplain mapping and floodplain management projects is intended to provide technical assistance to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) states and communities and promote risk identification and sound floodplain management.
