ArchivedDepartment of the Interior
Description
This project will accomplish the following objectives: 1) determine seasonal distribution and habitat use of Arctic grayling in the upper Delta River and steelhead in the Gulkana river via implanted radio transmitters; and 2) determine relative population abundance of sampled populations. These data will be summarized into a stock report at the conclusion of the project. The reports will provide information necessary to ensure the protection of seasonally important habitat for these high value species.
