CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, “Increasing Immunization Rates through Healthcare Provider Partnerships”. Approximately $700,000 will be available in fiscal year 2009 to fund four awards. The purpose of the program is to develop and implement innovative programs for healthcare providers to change their knowledge, attitudes and beliefs about immunization in order to improve immunization coverage.
