Description

This funding opportunity is being offered for the improvement, enhancement and accuracy of the Wyoming National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) by completing the following objectives: 1. Research and update Missing names to the NHD from the Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) 2. Research and update new names to the NHD and GNIS (working with authoritative sources for the provision of the information) 3. Research and update misnamed major streams/rivers/ lakes/ ponds as found in performing the above tasks. Also, investigate the process for more timely and efficient means to identify and correct these errors. 4. Evaluate Wyoming Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD) names and fix those that are misspelled or misnamed.
