BLM-UT-GSENM-Water Quality Sampling
ArchivedDepartment of the Interior
Description
The Recipient will foster cooperation and consultation between the BLM and other partners for the purposes of water quality sampling. Sampling sites on public lands will be determined by BLM and all parties will have access to the results of water quality analysis and data management. The primary objectives of this effort are to acquire and maintain a long-term data set of water quality data on the important water resources within Kane County. This information will provide important data on the past, current, and future water quality of this critical resource for planning, management, and data reporting purposes. It will also be instrumental in ensuring compliance with the Clean Water Act. This data record will also be of value on a state-wide basis since few water quality studies are of long-term duration as this one is designed to be.
