BLM NV EYDO 2009 Tule Desert Fuel Breaks and Greenstrips Project
ArchivedDepartment of the Interior
Description
This project will create fuel breaks and greenstrips along approximately 17.5 miles of road corridor in the Tule Desert. In the course of establishing these fuel breaks, BLM wishes to test varying Plateau application rates, timing of seed application, and the interactions of plateau application rates with seeding treatments and pre-existing vegetation on the treatment sites. The BLM is seeking a research cooperator to assist us with baseline monitoring and with monitoring the several herbicide and seeding treatment that we will apply. Additionally assistance with recording, analyzing and interpreting the monitoring data and with presenting the monitoring results to agency personnel is requested.
