This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. The Douglas County, NV ?Compost your Combustibles? hazardous fuels reduction program is organized and implemented by the East Fork Fire and Paramedic District (EFFPD). The program is designed to reduce the hazardous fuel loading around private residences and properties within the ?Wildland / Urban Interface? generally bordering Public Lands in small isolated communities surrounding the Minden - Gardnerville area.
