Description

Inventory of Invasive and/or Noxious plant species in the upper section of the Paria River Watershed which is located in the Kaiparowits region of GSENM. This project will add data that is being collected by USU across Utah, Dinosaur Nat?l Park, various Forest Service offices, that will give correlations to how invasive plants are spread by the public users and possibly animals both domestic and wildlife. The information collected will be analyzed and information will be published. This project could possibly benefit student interns by giving them experience in a field setting, they can also use information collected for project write-ups. Professors may use this information to publish research papers which may be necessary to acquire tenure at a university.
