Description

Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge seeks to continue habitat restoration of Tamaulipan brushland of the Lower Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. Native trees and shrubs will be planted on portions of Lower Rio Grande Valley NWR and Laguna Atascosa NWR. Partner will assist by purchasing trees and shrubs from private growers, contract site preparation services and labor for planting the sites. The Lower Rio Grande Valley NWR provides guidance to and works in close coordination with Valley Nature Center throughout the term of the cooperative agreement.
