Description
Purpose: This program provides support for short-term research training for medical students in aging research. Mechanism of Support: This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will utilize the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Short-Term Institutional Research Training Grant (T35). Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards: NIA intends to commit approximately $750,000 in FY 2010 to fund 4 to 6 new and renewal awards in response to this FOA.
