Description

The Migratory Bird Joint Ventures in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Midwest Region include the eastern Prairie Pothole Joint Venture, and the Upper Mississippi River and Great Lakes Region Joint Venture. Bird conservation activities in the areas of research, monitoring, evaluation, outreach and habitat implementation are eligible with a 1:1 non-federal cost share. Activities should meet one or more objectives of the listed Joint Ventures.

  • Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
  • Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
  • Private institutions of higher education
