INCREASE PARTICIPATION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
ArchivedUganda USAID-Kampala
Description
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Uganda invites applications from qualified U.S. or non-U.S. entities, such as private, non-profit organizations (or for-profit companies willing to forego profits), including private voluntary organizations, universities, research organizations, professional associations, and relevant special interest associations to carry out activities, under grants, that increase participation of people with disabilities (PWDs) in USAID activities and strengthen the capacities of disabled people’s organizations (DPOs). The purpose of this APS is to disseminate information about this activity to prospective applicants so that they may develop and submit concept papers for USAID funding. Applicants must use the "Disability Concept Paper Application Form" attached to this APS when submitting their concept papers. This APS describes: (1) the type of activities or programs for which applications will considered; (2) the funding available and the process and requirements of submitting applications; and (3) explains the criteria for USAID evaluation of applications.
