THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD - THERE IS NO "FULL ANNOUCNEMENT" ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. The USFWS intents to award a Cooperative Agreement to The Nature Conservancy for the purposes of supporting habitat protection and restoration initiatives identified in Focus Areas identified in the National Strategic Plan for the Coastal Program (draft) in the Gulf of Maine and in the National Strategic Plan for the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program (draft) in the Gulf of Maine. This Agreement is to complete mapping components of the Northeast Habitat Classification and Mapping project, to develop species habitat models, and to apply those models for representative species in the Gulf of Maine watershed.
