CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, “Public Health Research on Children and Adults Living with Spina Bifida (U01).” Approximately $ 300,000 will be available in fiscal year 2010 to fund 1 award. The purpose of this FOA is to advance the knowledge of healthcare utilization, co-morbidities, levels of independence and employment, and mortality associated with children and adults living with Spina Bifida.
