Description

This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits proposal packages to fund one healthy schools project resulting in rural and urban schools adopting healthier indoor environmental practices to reduce student and staff exposure to indoor air pollutants; provide asthma awareness training to students, teachers, and parents; assist school administrators to develop a sustainable indoor air quality management plan; and develop a network of collaborative partners to serve as a resource for schools to receive indoor air management assistance. Proposed projects must support demonstration, training, outreach and/or education activities to reduce exposure to indoor air pollutants and yield measurable environmental outcomes.
