Recovery Act - OHV Restoration Wilderness - New Mexico
ArchivedDepartment of the Interior
Description
The BLM has identified certain vehicle routes on public lands within Wilderness and other NLCS units in New Mexico that are not open for use. The BLM wants to provide the opportunity for qualified youth or young adult corps to develop work ethic and ethic of public service and provide environmental education opportunities by improving NLCS resources. This will be accoomplished by rehabilitating OHV routes to a natural condition, improve wildlife habitat and enhance wilderness for extended public use.
