Description
Project goals are to locate, map, record, and date ancient marine terraces capable of hosting Paleoindian cultural remains. The project will occur along the Lost Coast within the King Range National Conservation Area. Identification, mapping, and dating of intact Late Pleistocene/Early Holocene marine terraces capable of hosting in-situ Paleoindian cultural deposits. Descriptions of terrestrial marine terraces and the soils they support, soil dating techniques, soil ages based . GPS maps.
