Description
The purpose of this research program is to examine health system- and patient-related factors that are associated with long-term processes of care, morbidity, mortality, and quality of life of persons with diabetes; costs; and the reduction of the risks of diabetes, including complications. The focus is on analyzing existing TRIAD study data and examining remaining hypotheses; publishing study findings in peer reviewed journals; and sharing the results broadly through other dissemination mechanisms (web sites; consumer, professional, and business organizations; training programs).
