Description

CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, “Integrated HIV Prevention Program for the Federal Police Force of Ethiopia under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) ” Approximately $342,000 will be available in fiscal year 2010 to fund 1 award. The purpose of this announcement is to provide support for expansion of current prevention, care, and treatment efforts under the Government of Ethiopia’s National HIV/AIDS Plan. The scope of this award will enhance the implementation of peer education and outreach through Modeling and Reinforcement to Combat HIV/AIDS (MARCH) Program in the Federal Police setting, expand the implementation of Behavior Change Communication (BCC) interventions within the HIV/AIDS workplace program, and increase support to the National HIV/AIDS Program in the design and implementation of capacity-building efforts to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of HIV/AID service delivery.
