CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, “Providing HIV Prevention, Treatment, and Care Services to Injecting Drug users, Incarcerated Population and other Vulnerable Populations in Central Asian Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.” Approximately $1,000,000 will be available in fiscal year 2010 to fund 1 award. To provide HIV prevention, treatment and care services to injecting drug users, incarcerated population, and other vulnerable populations in Central Asian Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
