Description
The purpose of this program is to continue support for Tanzanian Interfaith Networks to implement comprehensive HIV prevention, care and support activities. Through this funding announcement, CDC proposes to establish a five year cooperative agreement with an experienced indigenous faith-based organization (FBO) network to: 1) Implement recognized evidence-based and effective prevention interventions; 2) Expand promotion and provision of community-based HIV counseling and testing (HCT) services; and 3) Maintain and improve existing faith-based community care and support for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) provided through well established Tanzanian Interfaith Partnerships and Networks.
