Description
Development of new winter safety shelters on the INHT. The purposes of the project are to improve public safety, support improved trail maintenance and encourage trail use. The project proposes to develop four 12 x 12 log safety shelters in 2010 on remote, uninhabited segments of the Trail; generally between 45 and 75 air miles from the nearest community.
