Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Description

The purpose of this program is to support the upgrade of existing medical laboratory training programs at a Namibian university (hereafter referred to as "the grantee"). This agreement is intended to create a direct relationship between the grantee the Centers for Disease Control, and PEPFAR. It is not intended to fund a non-university partner (e.g., NGO or international agency) to provide services to the grantee. The specific objectives for this program are to strengthen the grantee's existing medical laboratory training program's curriculum, support learning exchanges for faculty and students, and enhance library resources and facilities for graduate and undergraduate training programs in the medical laboratory sciences.
